Since our historic Inaugural Ptown Cruise in 2019, so many of you have asked, “When will VACAYA return to Provincetown”? Well… the wait is over!
VACAYA is tickled pink to build our newest tradition with you… starting in 2021 and hopefully continuing for many years to come, VACAYA is returning to Provincetown for a first-of-its-kind SUMMER JAMBOREE!* This fabulous 6-night “Best of Ptown” experience has been crafted for both seasoned Ptown travelers and newbies alike – each and every moment carefully curated by VACAYA to build memories that’ll last a lifetime.
VACAYA has partnered with multiple hotels, theaters, nightclubs, local merchants, beaches, and the city’s world-famous Tea Dances to deliver a VIP package you won’t want to miss – all custom-tailored to our #AdaptToLive times with your health and safety as our #1 priority!
*WHAT’S A “JAMBOREE”?
Put simply, it’s a festive gathering centered around entertainment, connections, and fun. With all of us coming out of this dark Covid period – hopefully vaccinated and in good health – our 2021 Jamboree is the planting of a seed we hope will grow year after year. Our goal with this program is not only to provide our guests with a safe close-to-home vacation, but it’s also an opportunity for VACAYA to help a city we all love get solidly back on its feet. One of Ptown’s main industries is tourism – especially over the summer months. Our June event will kick off what locals and Vacayans alike hope will be the start of our return to normalcy. The first 6 months of 2021 will see a sea change in the way the US handles the pandemic, with ever-loosening restrictions as more and more people get vaccinated each day. By June, we expect things to look more “normal” than not, but as we’ve proven over and over again, we will all #AdaptToLive as conditions require.

- Accommodations for 6 Nights at Ptown’s most iconic LGBT-owned and operated B&Bs – The Crown & Anchor Inn, Pilgrim House, Boatslip Resort & Beach Club, and Crowne Pointe Inn & Spa. The hotels are all ours and breakfast is included daily!
- Welcome Hosted Cocktail Reception Monday, June 14
- 4 Exclusive Tours: The very best of Ptown from Whale Watching and Dune Tours to everything in between

One of VACAYA’s main missions is to give back to the communities we visit. We view travel as a truly transformative experience. LGBT+ travel specifically has changed the way people all over the world view our community. They have given us so much by welcoming LGBT+ travelers with open arms. Some of you remember or may have even participated in the Rainbow Flag Reunion we staged in Provincetown during our 2019 cruise. It’s 4pm and time for Tea! Portable bars replace lounge chairs, and people gather in front of Boatslip’s Resident DJ as she drops the needle on the first song of a supercharged 3-hour set. Come as you are and expect the unexpected at Provincetown’s biggest outdoor dance party. Brimming with spontaneous excitement, you never know who you might meet and connect with. An historically important and revered institution for almost 50 years, the legendary Boatslip Tea Dance is a “must do” event for first timers and seasoned visitors alike. Join us and discover why. FUR BABIES ALSO WELCOME
Year after year Provincetown has been named one of the most pet-friendly towns in the US and VACAYA knows how important your fur babies are to your family. So we’re pleased to be able to welcome them along for this all-new adventure. Several of the hotels we’ve selected make special accommodations for VACAYA guests traveling with their pets. Please check each hotel’s policy below and plan to add your furry friend to your reservation about 60 days prior to the event. We’ll send out an email when it’s time and you’ll pay the hotel directly.
- Pilgrim House -First come first served: 2 Classic and 3 Premium rooms. $35/dog/day.
- Crowne Pointe Hotel & Spa – First come first served: Superior King Room 201. The charge is $40/night+tax.
- The Boatslip – Limited to Service Animals Only with proper paperwork and a $500.00 security deposit. No daily charge.

A NOTE ABOUT SAFETY
VACAYA is all about connections, having fun, and building community, but your health and safety are our highest priorities. While we fully expect June 2021 to look more “normal,” both VACAYA and our partner hotels in Provincetown have proven we can discern and implement complex health protocols when necessary. We assume by June we’ll be able to gather our entire group at key moments during the week, but we’ll be ready to adapt to any conditions we may face as a community.
Of course each planned activity has a fixed cost that was used to build and price this vacation package. If circumstances at the time disallow any of our planned events, we will work with each of our guests to appropriately compensate you for that cancelled event(s).
