Marleen Rios, a first-generation American, was inspired by her parents to pursue her education and dreams. Born and raised in Southern California, Marleen earned an A.A. in Humanities, a B.A. in Psychology, and developed a deep appreciation for art, music, nature, and archaeology. Her journey has always been about blending learning with passion, and she has followed that path into the world of travel.

Marleen’s love for travel began with her connection to her Mexican heritage and culture. Her graduation trip to Oahu, Hawaii, left a lasting impact, igniting her love for travel and cultural exploration. The beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and the richness of its culture captivated her, opening her eyes to the world beyond her backyard. This journey sparked her interest in not only exploring the natural wonders of new destinations but also immersing herself in local cultures, food, wine, and festivals.

Her background in psychology and the humanities has shaped her deep appreciation for history and culture, making her an expert at curating meaningful travel experiences for her clients. Marleen’s love for solo travel has also shaped her travel philosophy. Her first solo/guided tour of the UK and Ireland, where she explored historic landmarks and cities infused with centuries of stories, was a transformative experience. Solo travel taught her vital lessons about self-discovery and confidence, which she now shares with others, guiding them on their own journeys of personal growth and exploration.
